Purple Hurricanes blown away by Junior Titans 11-1

The Purple Hurricanes of Monroe Area High School found themselves outgunned and overmatched at Titan Stadium on Monday afternoon. After a slow start, the JV Girls dominated all aspects of the game completing their day's work early with about 12 minutes remaining due to the mercy rule. Goals came from all around with 7 Lady Titans pitching in. Anna Cisse, Anna Madison, Macie Clanton, and Julianna DeCoco tallied 2 goals each while Andie Tiemeyer, Sydney Clanton, and Anna Cobb each scored once. With their record standing at 7 and 2, the Junior Titans will next take the pitch against arch rival Oconee County on Thursday at 5:00. See you there!
