JV Game cancelled tomorrow 2/26

Barrow County is out of school tomorrow due to weather.

No practice tomorrow and pictures delayed till after spring break

Despite frigid temps and intermittent snow flurries, Heritage too hot to handle.

A very strong Heritage team shut down the varsity girls in the process of handing them a 4-0 defeat.  Despite strong play at times,  the Lady Titans struggled to find their rhythm and consistency. The next action for the varsity comes as they host Cedar Shoals on Friday the 27th at 5:30pm.

                                 

 

JV suffers tough 1-0 loss to Greenbriar

Playing in brutal conditions Wednesday afternoon, the JV Team lost 1-0 to the girls of Greenbriar. After giving up an early goal, the team settled down to play solid ball for the remainder of the game and managed to keep the ball on the Greenies' end of the field for much of the second half. Despite creating several good opportunities, the offense could not break through and find the back of the net. Next up for the JV- At Appalachee on Thursday Feb. 26th. Go Titans!!!

Practice today 2/17

We will be holding soccer practice today in the gym as regularly scheduled from 4-6.  We will be on the upper level of the main gym and may move to the small gym.  Practice is for all players on Varsity and JV.  Please make sure you have appropriate attire, including shin guards, and shoes for working indoor on the gym floor.

JV Team Dinner

After a hard day on the practice field, members of the JV team enjoyed a great meal and a fun time at the Tiemeyers Wednesday evening.

Varsity scrimmage against Central Gwinnett

Friday night the Lady Titans scrimmaged against the Lady Knights of Central Gwinnett in Lawrenceville. Even though the final score ended in a 0-0 draw, the scrimmage was a big success as Coach Hedges and the fans got to see a lot of exciting play from all the girls. 

There was outstanding play all around including some impressive goal keeping and everyone got a chance to contribute. Looks like we have the potential for a great season.

Central Gwinnett Scrimmage

Congrats to our Varsity on their scrimmage tie yesterday.  It was a very physical game.  Rest up this weekend and good luck to our JV as they travel to  St. Pius on Monday.
