Indoor soccer - teams forming for winter

Indoor team schedules are set.  The girls will be playing at Core Soccer on three different teams.

Tryout information - Tuesday, January 20-22

 The tryouts and evaluations will begin on Tuesday, January 20th and will last until Thursday January 22.  Teams will be announced on Friday January 23rd. The week prior to tryouts, we will hold voluntary preseason conditioning sessions for anyone interested.  We will make every effort to train everyday, regardless of weather, and you will need to make sure you have the proper attire to train outdoor or indoor.  If we should have to train indoor, it will be in the gym if it is available and you will need to have shoes that can be worn on the gym floor.  Also, if the field condition is unsuitable for play we may use the time for conditioning on the road and you will need shoes to run in.  The season schedule is still being finalized and we will forward to you as soon as it is available.

Updates for the week of 3/17

Tues- Varsity at Morgan Co.  Release time is 3:15.  Bus leaves at 3:45  Game time is 5:30

Wed.- JV at home vs. Madison Co.  Game time is 7:00 p.m.

Thur. - JV at Cedar Shoals.  3:30 normal release.  Game time is 5:30

Fri. - Varsity at East Jackson.  3:15 release.  Bus leaves at 3:45.  Game time is 5:30

Congrats to the JV on a 6-0 win over Hart County on Wednesday.

Congratulations to our Lady Titans Varsity team who beat Heritage 2-1 yesterday.

Reminder: Monday is picture day. Please bring envelope and Subway order and money (in an envelope or clipped together).

Cedar Shoals Game cancelled.

Varsity will practice as usual.

Picture Day on Monday, 3/10/12

Picture order forms will be passed out today at practice. Please have order forms, with money, ready to give the photographer. Players will report to the soccer field at 4 for pictures.  Uniform color will be determined today at practice.  

FCA Meeting on Thursday

The girls (JV and Varsity) will be recognized at the FCA Meeting on Thursday, March 6 at 7:30 in the Health Room.  Please try and attend.

Updated Schedules

The schedules have been updated.  Please check frequently for updates.  If you have not signed up for two different shifts (games) for concession stand, please do.  The link if on the website under Concession Stand Sign-up.  We have two new home games on 3/14 and 3/25.

Game changes for JV and Varsity

2/11 and 2/13 - Varsity & JV game against Apalachee has been canceled.  A make up date has not been set yet, but we are working on it.

2/20 - JV game has been added.  Game is against Gainesville- Away.  JV girls at 5:30, Boys at 7:00.  

2/21 - Times for Boys and Girls Varsity games against Clarke Central at home have been swapped.

2/24 - Varsity game against Central Gwinnett scheduled for 2/25 was declined by GSOA, therefore we had to reschedule for 2/24.  Same location and times at home. 

3/10 - JV boys game against Chestatee has been added - away. Time TBA.

Tryouts Begin Tuesday

Tryouts begin on Tuesday  and continue through Thursday from 4-6 PM on the practice field.  There will be no practice on Friday and girls will be contacted on Thursday night to understand which team they will be placed on for the 2014 season.

Please make sure you are properly dressed given that cold weather is expected this week (gloves, hats, sweatshirts) and that you have cleats, shinguards and tennis shoes.  If you don't have on shin guards you will not be able to participate in some of the contact evaluation drills.

Conditioning begins 1/13 at 4 on the Practice Field

Please be on the practice field at 4 with shin guards and cleats on and all jewelry removed.  Please bring indoor shoes in case of inclement weather.
