Lady Titans Tackle Spartanettes

On a brisk Friday night at Titan Stadium, the Lady Titans demonstrated some toughness and tenacity as they fought back for a gritty come from behind victory over the Women of Troy (Athens Academy). After going down 1-0, Erin Roche connected on a long perfectly placed free kick to draw even at 1-1 midway through the first half. The score remained knotted at 1-1 until late in the 2nd half when Andie Tiemeyer buried a fine cross from Roche deep into the Academy net. North Oconee kept the Spartanettes at bay for the remainder of the match to take the 2-1 win. Nicely done ladies.
