JV Girls strike back, blitz Oconee 3-0.

The North Oconee JV Girls evened the standings with Oconee by overwhelming the Junior Warriors 3-0 on Thursday afternoon. With Ella Malone, Emma Price, and Nat Frey mopping up the midfield, the defensive back line rarely had much to do. The ball spent most of its time on the Oconee half. Offensive pressure from Anna Cisse, Andie Tiemeyer, and Becca Wilson kept Oconee on its heels for much of the game. Goal number one came from Tiemeyer, number 2 from Wilson, and number 3 was delivered by Frey with a goalie assist. The Warriors were never able to mount any kind of attack and a serious scoring threat never materialized. Everyone wore green head bands or ribbons in showing solidarity with Sara Lewis of Oconee. Afterwards, the team celebrated the victory in the last home match with cup cakes courtesy of Hollie Singleton's parents. This was the 7th win in a row for the JV bringing their record to 8-2. The final game of the season for the JV Girls will be on the road against Stephens County  Monday afternoon at 5:30. See you there Titan fans!
