Lady Titans storm Purple Pit, calm Hurricanes 3-0.

The Varsity Girls traveled to Monroe Area's Purple Pit Stadium and got their busy week started off right with a 3-0 win over the Hurricanes. Although not as dominant as their little sisters had been the day before, the Lady Titans controlled the game for the most part. Coach Hedges substituted liberally including getting in some JV players for their first varsity action of the season. Ella Malone and Lanier Lowery played well in their varsity debuts giving some of the regulars a little extra time off. With several starters dinged up and so many tough games ahead, every bit of extra rest is precious. The offensive scoring was provided by first a goal from Katie Beth Bray followed by 2 goals from Erin Roche. Tonight brings another challenging and important game as the Titans travel to Oconee for a cross-county showdown. All hands on deck! Gooooo TITANS!!!
